| Pedagogical development work: | The Institute has adopted a new technological information system in different fields and prospectives: 1) Within the sphere of teachers' training and of teaching technical design in order to acquire the necessary skills and devise multimedia activities 2) Within the sphere of multi-subject didactics, as technological aid, and of studies to carry out multi- media multi-subject teaching activities (Area of project) 3) Within the sphere of the didactics of a subject of study both to carry out overtext works to widen the students' knowledge and as an aid to the teaching activities in the different subjects of study 4) Within the sphere of a definite curriculum through the teaching of ICT as self subject in the courses involved in experimental didactics 5) Within the sphere of remedial work for weak students 6) Within the sphere of integrative and subsidiary subjects chosen by the students 7) Within the sphere of Information and Reference Material All these activities are recorded in the school Internet web site http://multilab.tin.it/wescuola/trev01 |

| Type and configuration of the computers: | Our Institute has at its disposal 4 classrooms of Informatics; besides that it has other computers installed in classrooms, labs, secretary's office, etc. Statistically speaking there's about a computer every 8 students. The computers are about 110 on the whole, 100 of which are network connected. The computers are of different types; most of them are Level 5. |

| Number of lesson involving/and integrating ICT and to which extend?: | In experimental courses ITC form a self subject with two lessons a week in the curriculum (66 lessons a year). Besides that, many students follow Informatics classes for other 66 lessons a year to widen and integrate their knowledge in this field. In other courses the ITC lessons are subsidiary according to the development of the multimedia teaching activity. |
| How is the accessibility for teachers and students to computers, software, and network?: | The use of Informatics structures is free for all teachers at any moment; even students have their own classroom where they can freely use the computers. In some classrooms there's a computer connected with an internal network. |
| How is the information policy regarding information sharing?: | As the internal network has been completed, school resources are shared and data can be used in all different netwok connected work environments inside the school. |
| How is the availability regarding Opening Hours?: | Moreover we have formed a Resource Centre the students, assisted by a teacher, can attend everyday but Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m: in the Centre the students can navigate in cd-rom, get connected with Internet, use the various application packages, use the scanner. |

| How does the strategy affect your daily practice? | In daily practice the use of New Technologies is widely spread and highly requested by our students. In particular, besides the curricula activities foreseen in experimental courses, the main use regards the realization of multi-subject works foreseen in the sphere of the area of project and of subject works of search. In the web pages of the Institute these activities are described in full detail. |

| A description of daily life and practice | Our Institute is doing its best to make and keep all available Informatics structures as efficient as possible to offer, both teachers and students, an aid for an effective use. |
| Organisation of support and back-up systems - which facilities by which channel? | A teacher is in charge of the network management, another one is in charge of the management of the Resource and Reference Material, another teacher has to coordinate and follow the teaching activities in the multimedia field. |
